Wednesday starts with the usual mountain bicycle recovery ride to the old yacht club and back to home. I climb the Junipero hill twice and oush when feeling god enough to. At home I do some sweeping of a neighbor's blooms, grab a shower, run sme errands including returning a library book that I finished last night, and return to home. I sign up for Peacock (as last year) for a month so that I can watch the Tour de France at my convenience. And I also do some work backing up data. Today is a slow day and I watch a Netflix series and ponder some thoughts about my future as're already past the halfway point of 2025 and I do not feel as though I have been as productive as I should be. And later I catch a bit of the Dodgers' game before starting in on the last of the two library books that I have.
This entire calendar year has been much cooler than uaual. We've had a handfull of days near 80 degreees F. Today (and yesterday) are those days and I get to open up the house and let warm and clean and refreshing breezes blow through the house. At my lower weight, I have complained about how cold I have been and I still wear two layers when out cycling. But maybe now we will have a warm - not hot - summer.
On Thursday I get out for an 80 minute run/walk where I've increased the run portion dramatically over the last couple of weeks since the slight left hamstring problem. I trim the roses and trim the nrighbor's side bush which grows into my driveway very rapidly at this time of year (so that I can get my car out). After a shower I buy a ton of vegetables and healthy food for the upcoming week or so. But later today I cook pasta to carboload for a long Friday morning bicycle ride. I work on the Reinforcement Learning algorithm and finaly figure out a reasonable strategy. But I keep making silly errors and I cannot get it to converge. So I'll take a break and work on it tomorrow.
