A Quiet Weekend

Despite not receiving telephone calls from ChiChi or Ta-Wei (Ta-Wei is my friend...er...investor...er...sponsor), I head down to the Frat House on Friday night. It appears to be a slow night, or maybe that is just my impression. The half Vietnamese crossdresser is there again with fairly high heels - though not as stratospheric as last week. I listen to music for a while, go outside, come back inside, listen to more music, go outside, come back inside, and listen to more music. There is nothing special about this night except for one woman and one man who, independently, appear to be following me and occasionally making eye contact. Being friendly, I smile back but do nothing else. Seeing that it is a slow night, I leave early and am in bed by 12:30 am Saturday morning.

I stay up late to watch the start of the Malaysian Grand Prix. I go to bed after 5 laps with the VCR recording the rest. I have dreams that Eddie Irvine wins the race and is later disqualified - leaving Mika Hakkinen world champion. I wake up Sunday and watch the race and Eddie Irvine wins with Mike Hakkinen third. I go for a bicycle ride and take another afternoon nap. Preparing for my 9pm ice hockey game, I log onto the Internet and almost faint when I see that Eddie Irvine has been disqualified and Mika Hakkinen is provisional world champion. Why can't I dream about lottery numbers?
