Some Thoughts


After spending the most of the weekend at work or in bed with a 100F temperature, I feel well enough to play a Sunday afternoon ice hockey game. We win the game and, except for being a bit weak, I play well. I even get an assist on the winning goal late in the third period. I take two penalties during the game, which is the same number that I took in our last game on Thursday. Three of the four penalties were "good" penalties in that I stopped good scoring chances. And it felt good to drill somebody standing in front of the net, just about to get the puck, thinking that he was going to get a goal. When in reality, he ended up face up (or maybe face down) on the ice without touching the puck.
